An au pair is a young person between the ages of 18 and 30, single non married and without children, who travels to a foreign country for a defined period of time to live with a host family.
As an au pair you take on a role as a member of the family and help your host family with childcare and light housework. In return, your receive free room and board plus pocket money.

AuPair in Belgium

You must:

Be between the ages of 18 - 25 years old

Unmarried and no children

Have a high school diploma or equivalent

Never had a criminal record

Have a valid passport

Have experience with children and child care (babysitting etc)

Never worked in Belgium previously

Can speak English or Dutch or French

You are in good health. You will need a medical declaration that you are fit to work as au pair

AuPair in Luxembourg

You must:

Be between the ages of 18 - 28 years old

Unmarried and no children

Have a high school diploma or equivalent

Never had a criminal record

Have a valid passport

Have experience with children and child care (babysitting etc)

Never worked in Belgium previously

Can speak English or French

You are in good health. You will need a medical declaration that you are fit to work as au pair

AuPair in France

You must:

Be between the ages of 18 - 30 years old

Unmarried and no children

Have a high school diploma or equivalent

Never had a criminal record

Have a valid passport

Have experience with children and child care (babysitting etc)

Never worked in Belgium previously
